Growth Marketing Intern

MarketingFull-timeMalaysia

What we're looking for

This is not a usual marketing internship.

At Corplabs, our marketing intern works across the full growth funnel — branding, content, design, lead generation, conversion, and sales support. You won't just schedule social media posts; you'll help build the brand of a Malaysian software company and its flagship products — including HiTerra, our agritech platform deployed in real farms across Malaysia and Indonesia — and follow leads all the way from first touch to closed deal.

You'll work directly with the founder and engineering team, talk to real stakeholders — clients, partners, and prospects — and use modern AI tooling as part of your daily workflow. If you want to learn how marketing actually drives revenue in a tech company, this is that internship.

What you'll actually do

  • Build the brand. Shape and execute company branding (Corplabs) and product branding (HiTerra and our software services) across web, social, and marketing materials.
  • Design hands-on. Create visual content — social graphics, decks, one-pagers, campaign assets — using Canva, Figma, and AI-assisted design tools.
  • Create video content. Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video — Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, product demos, and behind-the-scenes content — including on-site footage from our agritech deployments.
  • Generate and convert leads. Support lead generation campaigns, follow up on inbound interest, and help move prospects through the funnel.
  • Support sales. Assist with proposals, pitch decks, follow-ups, and keeping the pipeline organized — you'll see how deals actually get closed.
  • Talk to stakeholders. Join calls and meetings with clients, partners, and prospects — learning to communicate product value to different audiences.
  • Stay close to the technology. Work alongside our engineering team to understand the products you're marketing — agritech, AI, and custom software — so your content is accurate and credible.
  • Use AI tooling daily. Work with AI-assisted content and marketing workflows — copywriting, design, research — the way a modern marketing team operates.
  • Measure what matters. Track engagement, lead, and conversion metrics; run market and competitor research to sharpen positioning.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Comfortable talking to people — clients, partners, and prospects, not just an audience behind a screen.
  • Hands-on with Canva, Figma, or similar design tools — a small portfolio of past work (school projects count) is a big plus.
  • Comfortable with short-form video creation and editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) — you should be able to take an idea from concept to a publishable Reel or Short.
  • Own an active AI tool subscription (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, or equivalent) — we work AI-first, and you'll be expected to use these tools daily as part of your workflow.
  • Interested in technology and software products — you don't need to code, but you need to be curious about what we build.
  • Familiar with social media platforms, short-form content trends, and basic digital marketing concepts.
  • Comfortable with numbers — basic marketing analytics and reporting.
  • Willing to learn, take initiative, and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.

What you'll walk away with

  • Full-funnel experience most marketing interns never get — from brand-building to lead conversion to sales support.
  • Real client and stakeholder exposure in a B2B tech environment.
  • A portfolio of actual shipped work: campaigns, designs, and content for real products including a field-deployed agritech platform.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted marketing workflows — one of the most in-demand skills in the industry right now.
  • A practical understanding of how marketing drives revenue, not just engagement.
